Everyone, please join our two-day event!
The celebration is open to all students, faculty and staff throughout the UD community. To allow all to take part in the inauguration ceremony and picnic, classes will be suspended on Friday. Staff are encouraged to attend as unit needs allow; supervisors should be consulted in advance.
Planned Open Events
We encourage all students and staff to wear Blue Hen spirit gear!
Faculty members and staff with doctoral or terminal degrees who wish to join the Procession should register to do so and be prepared to wear academic regalia. A limited number of UD regalia packages (with doctoral hoods) are available from the UD Bookstore; contact Lindsey Collings (lkillmey@udel.edu) by April 6. Participants in the Procession will have access to Gore Hall for robing, restrooms and bag check; further details to come.
Stay for the Community Celebratory Barbecue at 12:30 p.m. after the ceremony on The Green!
Register for open events so we know you’re coming.
Continue to reference this webpage for any adjustments to the schedule of events.
See you at the celebration!
