Newark Police investigate report of indecent exposure on Scholar Drive

Newark Police are investigating the report of an indecent exposure that occurred at approximately 2:55 p.m., Friday, Dec. 8, in the 500 block of Scholar Drive at University Courtyard Apartments.

Two 20-year-old female University of Delaware students told police they saw an unknown white man in a gray or silver Honda who was driving around while masturbating. He pointed at the two women while continuing to masturbate.

The suspect is described as a white man in his mid-20s, unshaven with dark hair and wearing dark sunglasses and a dark sweatshirt. His vehicle is a gray or silver Honda Accord with a Delaware license plate, possibly ending in 300.

Newark Police have released a surveillance image of the vehicle.
