Another spin of the wheel

UD senior Rebecca Kline a contestant on 'Wheel of Fortune'
The University of Delaware’s Rebecca Kline, a senior secondary math education major from West Chester, Pennsylvania, will appear on ABC’s Wheel of Fortune on Thursday, May 19.
The show was taped at Sony Studios in Culver City, California. Locally, it will air at 7:30 p.m., on WPVI-TV, Channel 6, in Philadelphia.
“The show was actually taped out in California during our spring break,” Kline said. “I had never been to the West Coast, so this was an amazing chance to not only pursue my dream of being a contestant, but also to travel somewhere I have always wanted to explore.”
Kline said that although friends and family who have watched the show with her at her home know she is really great at it from her couch, actually being on show with the pressure of the camera and lights made it something entirely different.
“I still did well, but it was tough to keep my emotions together,” Kline said. “Having my parents in the audience to support me helped a lot and Pat Sajak and Vanna White were super sweet, too.”
