The Career Services Center offers a variety of career fairs and meetups throughout the academic year. We offer boutique events based on our industry focused communities to bring talented Blue Hens and employers together. Most events are open to all matriculated UD students and alumni. An evening to meet and network informally with undergraduate and graduate students - - both those who are just beginning to explore the possibilities of a career in education, as well as students who will graduate soon and hope to learn about current or anticipated vacancies.  Encourage students to declare education majors, choose careers in K-12 education, and consider job opportunities in the State of Delaware! Employers are welcome to bring UD alumni working in your schools/districts to talk with students about their experiences.  

Come meet UD students to help them learn more about the profession and your school/district! Dress code is business casual; light refreshments will be served.  

Event is open to representatives from Delaware schools/school districts only.

This event is open to ALL undergraduate and graduate students considering careers in K-12 education! Plan to attend this networking event to meet educators and administrators from Delaware schools and school districts - - learn about the many different types of opportunities in education: teachers, counselors, para-educators, administrators, specialists, and more!

The Technology Networking Night allows you to network with top students seeking job and internship opportunities!

The program will start off with an employer overview. We encourage our participants to be prepared to briefly discuss their available opportunities and company background.

Following the introduction, you will have an opportunity to interact with the students. Employers will be provided one high top table with their company name. We ask that you limit your giveaways and handouts in order to maximize the networking - bring plenty of business cards!

International women's day networking fair

During International Women's Day Celebration, the Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) at the Lerner College (the preeminent driver of learning to empower transformational women leaders and advance gender equity in the workplace) will be hosting a networking fair and luncheon for students, faculty, staff and employers.

The cost of registration will cover: 3-4 representatives for lunch, a high-top table at the networking fair and luncheon, and networking with 300+ undergraduate and graduate students. Our employer partners are encouraged to join us on this day to celebrate gender equity and women’s leadership and to market your involvement across your organization as a sign of your commitment to diversity and inclusion. For higher-level involvement and sponsorship opportunities, contact Jill Gugino Pante at jgugino@udel.edu.

The Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) at the Lerner College is the preeminent driver of learning to propel transformational women leaders and advance gender equity in the workplace. In celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8th, Lerner will host an official launch for the Women’s Leadership Initiative. The day of events will include a special keynote address by Valerie Biden Owens, a panel of women leaders, a networking fair and luncheon, and end with a celebration march on Main Street and through campus.

Students will have the opportunity to network with employers who are looking to recruit talented leaders for jobs and internships and committed to women’s leadership and gender equity. Bring copies of your resume and dress is casual (no sweatpants or hats).

How will you present yourself in the workplace? What do you want from a future employer? How are you prepared?

Join us to have the conversations on hot topics such as natural beauty, microaggressions, disclosure on religion, sexuality and diversity as well as mindfulness and self- care. These issues and ideas will face all students in some capacity in their future endeavors.

Professional head shots will be available from the UD Young Alumni Network from 9:15am - 1:15pm in the Trabant Lounge.

If you have expertise in PT, OT, PA, medicine, and health care in general please consider registering for this event.

Project Search is a professional education recruitment fair sponsored by the University of Delaware Career Services Center and the University Council on Teacher Education (UCTE). Invited school district & other education organization representatives are asked to register for this annual event which provides the opportunity to travel to our campus to interview prospective teachers, counselors, administrators and specialists for vacancies in the upcoming school year.

This event is open to UD students, alumni and the community.

The 2018 Project Search will take place at University of Delaware's Newark Campus:

The University of Delaware Council on Teacher Education and Career Services are sponsoring PROJECT SEARCH on Wednesday, April 18, 2018.  This education career fair will be held at the Bob Carpenter Sports/Convocation Center.  We are pleased to bring you our fortieth annual event, which will give school officials an opportunity to meet with and interview qualified candidates in a variety of academic fields.

The suggested dress code is business professional.

If you are looking for employment opportunities for the upcoming school year, this is the event for you!

Cost: The registration fee is $10 for non-UD candidates and is non-refundable.

Career Fair Format: School district representatives may choose to conduct scheduled interviews with students/candidates or may opt to share information about employment opportunities informally. In order to take advantage of scheduled interview opportunities, it is imperative that students/candidates arrive on time.

The suggested dress code is business professional.

If you are new to the Handshake system, you must follow these steps to continue to the registration:

1. Find the link to register here: https://udel.joinhandshake.com/

2. Complete the student registration

3. Confirm your email address 

4. Find the "Fairs" link on the menu on the left side of the Handshake screen

5. Choose University of Delaware's 2018 Project Search Education Fair - Non-UD Candidates

6. Click on “join event” and complete the fair registration.

Your account will sit in the pending queue and the only way to identify that you are registering for Project Search is that you complete your registration!

The UD Physical Therapy program produces high quality individuals that have been trained to translate a strong platform in interdisciplinary science into health practices, therapies, and interventions that result in immediate improvements in people’s lives. Many of these skilled students have received awards & scholarships in recognition of their accomplishments. The PT Career Fair offers your institution an opportunity to interact with these talented, award winning students, and match them appropriately to the needs of your organization.

Newly added to this year's agenda: we will invite undergraduate students who are considering the path of Physical Therapy or seeking job shadow opportunities to attend the last hour of the fair to gather information.

  • Check-in: 10:30am - 12:30pm
  • Employer Lunch with 2nd Year DPT Students: 12:00pm to 1:00pm

  • Networking with 2nd Year DPT Students & Alumni: 1:00pm - 1:45pm
  • Networking with 1st & 2nd Year DPT Students and Alumni: 1:45pm - 2:30pm
  • NEW THIS YEAR: Networking with 1st & 2nd Year DPT Students and Alumni and we are welcoming undergraduate students considering a career in Physical Therapy to attend to learn about job shadow, volunteer and future internship opportunities and how to best prepare for a career in this industry. 2:30pm - 3:30pm

**STUDENT ATTENDEES WILL BE EASILY IDENTIFIED BY THEIR COLORED NAME TAGS TO DISTINGUISH CLASS YEAR\PROGRAM**

The cost per organization is $225.00 and includes two representatives, 1 - 6' table, WiFi, lunch and complimentalry parking.

Each additional representative beyond the included two is $35.00 each.

Parking Map & Information - parking is available at Perkins Student Center Garage. A parking code will be sent to you prior to the event to validate your stay on campus.

Special hotel rates are available for this fair at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel at University of Delaware and Embassy Suites (both based on availability). Mention the "UD related rate" when making reservations by phone to the local facility.

If you are looking for a full-time job or an internship this year or next summer, or considering the field of Physical Therapy this is the event for you!

DPT Students - Company representatives will be in attendance to provide you with information regarding their organization, hiring needs and requirements for full-time and summer employment.

Undergraduate students interested in the field of Physical Therapy- come during the last hour of the fair and be ready with questions about the field and ways to get experience!
