UD Day of Service


UD Day of Service is a yearly tradition when residence hall complexes, Registered Student Organizations, UD Alumni and outside service agencies come together to offer several service projects on campus for UD students, and around the country for UD Alumni. UD Day of Service, a partnership between Residence Life & Housing and the Office of Alumni Relations, takes place this year on September 20, 2014 and marks the fifth anniversary of the event.

Campus Opportunities & Locations

At each hub there are various opportunities for students and local alumni to partake in activities that benefit several local organizations, including Faithful Friends, AI DuPont Hospital, Family Promise, the B+ Foundation, troops serving overseas, student service RSOs, and more. See below for specific opportunities.

Where: East Campus Turf

When: 11 a.m.–2 p.m.

Where: Outside Rodney Dining Hall

When: 11 a.m.–2 p.m.

Where: Between Thomas McKean Hall and James Smith Hall

When: 11 a.m.–2 p.m.

Refreshments and Snacks
Refreshments will be provided courtesy of Pepsi and Aramark. There will also be ice cream, and other snacks provided in select locations.

For every service project you complete, you can win a prize! Do up to 3 projects, and you can exchange raffle tickets for a t-shirt (while supplies last.)
