UD Day of Service

#DareToServe

UD Day of Service is a yearly tradition when residence hall complexes, Registered Student Organizations, UD Alumni and outside service agencies come together to offer several service projects on campus for UD students, and around the country for UD Alumni. UD Day of Service, a partnership between Residence Life & Housing and the Office of Alumni Relations, takes place this year on September 21, 2013 and marks the fifth anniversary of the event.

Campus Opportunities & Locations

At each hub there are various opportunities for students and local alumni to partake in activities that benefit several local organizations, including Urban Promise, Newark Manor, AI DuPont Hospital, troops serving overseas, student service RSOs, and more. See below for specific opportunities.

Refreshments and Snacks
Refreshments will be provided courtesy of Pepsi and Aramark. There will also be ice cream, and other snacks provided in select locations.

Prizes
For every service project you complete, you will receive a ticket you can use to win lots of great prizes.

There are other service opportunities happening around the country as part of UD Day of Service. Locations include: Boston, MA - Rehoboth Beach, Delaware - Los Angeles, CA - Edgewater, NJ - NYC, NY - Lancaster, PA - Philadelphia, PA - Pittsburgh, PA - Phoenix, AZ - Reading, PA - Richmond, VA - Washington, D.C.
