True Blue Hens
Established in 2010, True Blue Hens is a recognition society that honors undergraduate alumni who make a gift to UD for three or more consecutive years. True Blue Hens are among UD’s most loyal donors. They provide the University with a consistent source of vital funding for tuition assistance, faculty support, programs, and more.
Members can designate their gifts to go directly to the areas of their choosing. All gifts from True Blue Hens help to strengthen a proud institution of higher learning that’s rising in the ranks of national universities.
Undergraduate students who make a gift to UD during their senior year are automatically considered True Blue Hens without having to give for three consecutive years. To maintain their status as a True Blue Hen, they are required to make a gift every year.
UD’s 5,500 True Blue Hens are recognized with a special listing in the annual President’s Report on Philanthropy. The report recognizes the thousands of donors who make all our achievements and efforts possible.
