University employees, with the exception of student workers who, at the time of entering the plan, are projected to make the maximum annual contribution to the University of Delaware 403(b) Retirement Plan

There is no University match on contributions.

Vesting

Contributions are on a tax-deferred basis and are fully and immediately vested.

Enrollment

Employees must complete an Agreement for Salary Deferral and submit it to Human Resources. Enrollment with the selected vendor(s) must be completed online. For more details, review the At-A-Glance. Enrollment is not automatic.

This plan is not subject to an open enrollment period. Employees may enroll and change elections at any point in the year.
