Committed to Diversity
Our Most Precious Resource

The University of Delaware community is an especially welcoming place for kids. A rich mix of programs, events, and activities designed for kids, from an infant language project to fun math programs, art exhibitions, and 4-H, to high school and pre-college programs, the University has something for all ages.

The new Kids' Corner is an online forum where youngster can meet University of Delaware researchers, explore mysteries, test their knowledge, and make discoveries of their very own.

Special outreach programs, such as “What in the World,” a program sponsored by the Business, Industry, Education (BIE) Alliance to expose students, K-12, to various careers and to stress the importance of science, math, and/or technology, have created connections between undergraduate and graduate UD students and elementary schools in Appoquinimink, Brandywine, and Christina school districts in Delaware.
