Getting to Capitol Hill by Car
Traveling by car is discouraged as parking in the area is extremely limited. Alternatives include parking at Union Station (Metro: Union Station) or the Washington Design Center (Metro: Federal Center SW) and taking the Metro to the Capitol South Metro stop, walking or taking a cab.

Getting to Capitol Hill by Metro
Using the Metro is highly recommended as parking in the area is extremely limited.
Blue Line or Orange Line:  The Capitol South Metro elevator is on the Northwest corner of 1st Street SE and D Street SE.   Take the Metro Blue Line or the Metro Orange Line to the Capitol South station.
