The University of Delaware School of Nursing offers three types of undergraduate programs:
Traditional Undergraduate Program
The traditional undergraduate program is designed for beginning students of nursing, including high school graduates and change-of-major students.
Accelerated Degree Program
The Accelerated Degree Program is for individuals who have obtained a baccalaureate degree in another field and wish to pursue a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN). This is a full-time, 17-month, on-campus program.
Nursing Education for the Registered Nurse
We offer two programs for nurses who are already licensed but do not hold a baccalaureate in nursing degree:
- The RN to BSN Program is for nurses who are already licensed but do not hold a baccalaureate in nursing degree.
- RNs who plan to go on for graduate education can opt for the RN to MSN program, which culminates in a concurrent BSN and MSN awarded upon completion of all requirements.
