Funding Opportunities

Purpose of Funding:
The purpose of this funding is to support current DPT students who will transition directly into a PhD program following completion of the DPT program. Funding will support part of DPT tuition costs.
Requirements:
- Must be a first-year DPT student applying for first year of funding, a second-year DPT student currently receiving this funding and applying for competitive renewal of funding, or a second-year student who has decided they will pursue the DPT to PhD.
- Must be planning to transition into a PhD program at UD following completion of the DPT.
Responsibilities of Funded Students:
- Student will be expected to meet with 3-4 Physical Therapy research faculty and rotate through their research labs during the funding period.
- An activities report is due after the spring semester and then a final report after the fall semester.
