The overarching goal of my lab is to conduct high-impact, translational clinical research to optimize health and functional outcomes for individuals with chronic pain and disability. Aims of this work include:

1) understanding the neural mechanisms underlying pain and movement interactions;

2) validating performance-based measures for use in pain populations;

3) developing and testing movement-based interventions to reduce pain and improve function; and

4) implementing effective pain rehabilitation approaches in real-world clinical settings.
