Bugzilla: Close a bug report
Questions should be directed to Web Development, it-webdev@udel.edu
Bug reports generally go through these stages:
Report created
Fixed by an IT-WD programmer
Tested and verified by the bug reporter
Closed by the bug reporter
If you have tested the resolution provided by the IT-WD programmer, and are satisfied that the bug is fixed as you specified, then you need to change the bug status to Mark bug as CLOSED. For compliance with our auditing procedures, all Bugzilla reports need to be marked as closed by the person who opened the report.
On the bug report that you are editing, find the radio buttons just above the Commit button.

Click the radio button for Mark bug as CLOSED.
You may want to enter Additional Comments to note that you have tested and verified that the bug is fixed.
Click the Commit button.
No further action will be taken on the bug, unless it is reopened.

Next step:
After you click Commit, the Bug Processed page will be presented.
To edit your report, click the bug number in the box at the top of the page. To change pages, click on a link in the yellow box at the bottom of the screen.
