Residency Training Program

The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at the University of Delaware is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), 1111 North Fairfax Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22314; telephone: 703-706-3245; email: accreditation@apta.org; website: http://www.capteonline.org. Please visit our "Student Outcomes" page for information on graduation rate, ultimate licensure exam pass rate, and employment rate over the most recent three years.
The Department of Physical Therapy also offers qualifying DPT students the option to earn a Master of Science (MS) in Anatomy and Clinical Health Science. Unlike the DPT program, the MS Degree program falls outside the auspice of CAPTE accreditation. Further, the University of Delaware offers credentialed residencies in sports, orthopedics, geriatrics and neurology. Similarly, CAPTE does not provide oversight or accreditation of residency programs.
