The Philadelphia Alumni Club continued to hold its monthly happy hour. June’s get-together was relocated to campus for Forum & Reunion Weekend, but returned to Philadelphia in July.

The board of the Baltimore Alumni Club was chosen in April. Officers include Zachary Bley ’02BE, president; Paul Gardner ’96AS, vice president; Craig Solomon ’98BE, special events chair; Liliana Vela ’05EP, young alumni chair; and Andrea Klausmeier ’03BE, communications chair.

In Delaware, the Kent & Sussex Counties Alumni Club hosted a gathering in Rehoboth in May. More than 30 Blue Hens attended, including club president Steven Waidley ’99AS, vice president Nancy Carig ’88AS and young alumni chair Stacey Callaway ’05AS. The club is seeking special events and communications chairs; apply at applications@UDconnection.com.

The New York City and New Castle County (Del.) alumni clubs recently hosted happy hours, at Brother Jimmy’s in Midtown Manhattan and the Logan House in Wilmington, respectively.

The Chicago and San Diego clubs hosted receptions with UD President Pat Harker, while San Diego Blue Hens met and mingled at the La Valencia Hotel. In Pennsylvania, the Lehigh Valley Alumni Club held its inaugural event and will soon be looking for board members.
