Join us this summer at UD's Outdoor Pool! Reasonably priced and conveniently located for summer fun, the Outdoor Pool is a sure way to beat the heat.
Located behind the Gold Arena, the Outdoor
Pool is the largest in the state. Since it is a fifty meter pool equipped
with pool slides,
there is always plenty of room on the hottest of summer days. The pool 
is heated (the temperature is kept at a constant comfortable 80 degrees)
so you can start swimming early in the season and not have to worry about
those chilly days! We also have a fenced-in Baby pool (just 6-inches deep!)
for the little tikes!
Members have access to shower and changing facilities and a snack shop and dining area which is located on the pool deck. There are also designated hours for lap swimming every day.
Enhancements
The University of Delaware Outdoor Pool has recently 
renovated
the locker room facilities, including a baby changing station in
the women's room. Other enhancements include over 250 chaise lounge
chairs on the pool deck, landscaping on the main pool deck and baby
pool area, a dining area on the pool deck and a new pool heater.

- NOTE: Parking for the Outdoor Pool is provided free in FRONT of the Fred Rust Ice Arena. Parking on the side of the Fred Rust Ice Arena during the week is reserved for the UD Faculty/Staff.
