Faculty & Staff Support

The Smith Hall Ask IT Service Desk provides general technical support for the campus community. It is important to note that some colleges and administrative units maintain dedicated IT support teams for specialized software, instructional technologies, and university-owned faculty/staff devices.

For support related to:

  •  College-specific academic software

  • Canvas course configuration beyond general guidance

  • Specialized research or instructional tools

  • University-owned faculty or staff laptops managed by a college IT unit.

  • UD systems, services, or processes beyond immediate hardware and software break-fix issues.

Ask IT is happy to help route you to the appropriate group. If you are unsure which team supports your request, don’t hesitate to stop by and speak with one of our Ask IT Service Desk representatives, email askit@udel.edu, or call 302-831-6000.
