UD1/FLEX card payment system set for library copiers

3:50 p.m., July 30, 2008--University of Delaware students, faculty, and staff may now use their UD1/FLEX card (University of Delaware ID card) for payment at all self-service photocopiers of the University of Delaware Library.

Add value to UD1/FLEX cards at any of the Value Transfer Stations on campus, including the one on the lower level of Morris Library, or by one of the deposit methods shown at [www.udel.edu/ud1flex]. Library staff members at the Student Multimedia Design Center service desk also accept cash or coins to add value to UD1/FLEX cards.

UD departments may obtain a department UD1/FLEX card for their department through the UD1/FLEX Office and arrange to add departmental funds to that card by contacting Kathy Phelps at the UD1/FLEX Office at [phelps@udel.edu] or (302) 831-4033.

Users without UD ID cards may purchase a new style blank Library Copy Card (based on the UD1/FLEX system) for $1.00 at the Student Multimedia Design Center, on the Lower Level of the Morris Library, and add value to this card at the Value Transfer Stations or at the Student Multimedia Design Center Desk.

For the convenience of users who have the old style Library Copy Card (a white card with blue lettering), the library will retain one designated black-and-white photocopier and one color photocopier on the lower level of Morris Library that will continue to accept the old style Library Copy Cards until August 2009.
