Awards

Rudi Matthee, professor of history, received the Said Sirjani Prize from the International Society for Iranian Studies for the best book on Iran published in 2004 and 2005 for his book titled The Pursuit of Pleasure: Drugs and Stimulants in Iranian History, 1500-1900, Princeton University Press.
