5:15 p.m., May 18, 2007--The University of Delaware recognized 308 faculty and staff members at a service awards dinner on May 15 at Clayton Hall.

The group included 234 UD employees with 5,700 years of service and 86 retirees with a combined total of 2,170 years of service.

During a reception in the lobby of Clayton Hall before dinner, a slide show of many of the honorees in their work locations was shown. In all, 308 individuals (12 individuals were both service awardees and retirees) with a combined 7,530 years of service were honored at the event.
