5:09 p.m., May 17, 2007--UD's Institute for Transforming Undergraduate Education (ITUE) 10th anniversary symposium is set for Wednesday-Friday, June 13-15, at various locations on campus.
Titled “Transforming Undergraduate Education: Promises, Benefits and Limitation,” the symposium will cover a wide range of topics and will feature a plethora of guest speakers from institutions as far away as Turkey, India and Peru.
The overall focus of the symposium will be on problem-based learning, integration of written and oral communication, effective use of technology, and design and redesign of undergraduate curriculum.
Additionally, on Wednesday evening, June 13, there will be a celebratory reception in the Center for the Arts, sponsored by UD President David P. Roselle and Provost Dan Rich.
