Camille Paglia to speak at DCCA on March 20
8:29 a.m., March 9, 2007--Camille Paglia, recently described by Newsweek magazine as “by turns a polemicist, pundit and provocateur,” will lecture at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 20, at the Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts. The event is supported by UD's Department of Art History and admission is free to University students and faculty.
Paglia, a columnist for Salon and professor of humanities and media studies at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, will speak on “The Search for Style: Creative Evolution in Picasso, Mondrian, Pollock and Warhol.”
