Spring Craft Show at The Bob set March 24, 25

10:03 a.m., March 21, 2007--Celebrate the end of winter by checking out the annual spring craft show from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, March 24, and 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday, March 25, at the Bob Carpenter Center.

More than 140 artisans from several states will be located on both floors of The Bob, displaying thousands of handcrafted items for adults, children and pets.

Besides a wide array of pottery, birdhouses and gift baskets, the show will feature handcrafted furniture decorated with hand-painted designs. Other items include jewelry made from various precious and semiprecious gems, hand-sewn clothing, quilts, crocheted afghans, dried-floral arrangements and wreaths.

Homemade candles and wrought-iron art will be available, along with handcrafted toys, ceramics, stained-glass window ornaments and etched-glass art objects.

Admission is $4 for adults. Children 12 and younger are admitted free.
