Women's Affairs awards deadline is Friday 3:11 p.m., March 15, 2007--UD's Office of Women's Affairs and the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) have announced a spring deadline for special awards. Complete information and application forms for each of these awards are available at [http://www.udel.edu/OWA]. Two awards will be given at Honors Day to outstanding returning adult women students. The Bessie Collins Award of $250 will be given to a woman who is over 25 years old, has a minimum grade point average of 3.0, demonstrates future promise and has overcome special difficulties in pursuing her goals. The Mae Carter Scholars Award of $500 will be awarded to an undergraduate or graduate woman student with a grade point average of at least 3.0 who has demonstrated service to women on campus and commitment to scholarship.
