Small business innovation expo set March 13 10:48 a.m., Feb. 27, 2007--Technology companies throughout the state are invited to attend Delaware's Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Expo, from 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, at UD's Clayton Hall Conference Center. The event is sponsored by the Delaware Small Business Development Center and its technology assistance program. The center is a partnership of UD's Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics, the Delaware Economic Development Office and the U.S. Small Business Administration. Nine federal agencies will present and discuss their technology interests and provide tips and guidance for submitting a successful SBIR proposal. The agencies include the Department of Energy, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Transportation, Environmental Protection Agency, National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, U.S. Army and U.S. Department of Agriculture. The expo also will include a networking lunch and time for one-on-one meetings with agency representatives in the afternoon.
