The panel included representatives from NSF, NIH, Fulbright and the Wenner-Gren Foundation. Honors M. Dennis Jackson, professor of English, wrote the afterword for the new Signet Classics edition of D.H. Lawrences Sons and Lovers. Jackson, who received the Harry T. Moore Distinguished Scholar Award for Lifetime Achievement in D.H. Lawrence Studies, coedited four books of criticism on D.H. Lawrence and served as the editor of the D.H. Lawrence Review for a decade. A. Scott Andres, senior scientist, Delaware Geological Survey, was reelected to a one-year term as chairperson of the Internet Ground Water Data Interest Group of the National Ground Water Association.
