Student, grad artwork on display Thursday-Saturday

3:18 p.m., May 18, 2005--An exhibit from Thursday-Sunday, May 19-21, in the Multipurpose Rooms of the Trabant University Center will showcase selected work by students, faculty and graduates of UD’s Department of Fine Arts and Visual Communications.

The exhibit, which is held at the end of each year to highlight the efforts of members of UD’s visual arts community, will be open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. each of the three days. It is free and open to the public.

Featured works will include the final portfolios of the Class of 2005, as well as pieces by second- and third-year art students, study-abroad students, graduates and affiliates of UD’s Raven Press--a letterpress facility in the Department of Fine Arts and Visual Communications.

An awards ceremony at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, May 19, in the Trabant University Center Multipurpose Rooms will kick-off the show.
