Fun-loving Blue Hens wanted at YoUDee tryouts

3:24 p.m., April 13, 2005--What better way to show your school spirit, entertain, play a major role at campus events and have fun doing it, than becoming YoUDee, the University’s popular, award-winning mascot. All YoUDee wannabes are invited to come to the auditions and strut their stuff, act silly and show off their talents.

Tryouts for YoUDee will be held from 3-7:30 p.m., Friday, April 22, in Gym 3 of the Carpenters Sports Building. Callbacks will be from 10 a.m.-noon, Saturday, April 23, at the same location.

A panel will judge candidates on such qualities as imagination, agility, energy, humor and overall performance. All full-time students, including incoming freshmen, are eligible.

Aspiring YoUDees may schedule an appointments or just walk in.
