Travel awards applications due Sept. 30

1:20 p.m., Sept. 14, 2005--The application deadline for Center for International Studies’ (CFIS) International Travel Awards is Friday, Sept. 30. Open to both faculty and professionals, the awards provide up to $500 per academic year toward participation in an international conference outside the United States within the participant’s field.

Three copies of the application, along with backup documentation and required signatures, should be sent to Sean Cox at the CFIS office, no later than 4:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 30. Faculty and professionals can apply for the International Travel Awards three times during the academic year--at the ends of September, January and May. All applications must be made before travel.
