UD museums director on WILM March 13

Janis Tomlinson
10:33 a.m., March 11, 2005--Janis Tomlinson, director of University of Delaware Museums and professor of art history, will be featured on “Delaware State of the Arts” at 5:35 p.m., Sunday, March 13, on WILM News Radio 1450 AM.

The show is hosted by Lee Kimball, producing artistic director of Opera Delaware, and Laura Scanlon, director of the Delaware Division of the Arts.

Tomlinson is best known for her work on 18th- and 19th-Century European painting and on painting in Spain. She curated the exhibition, “Goya: Images of Women,” at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., in 2002, and she is the author of books and articles about Goya and other Spanish painters. She will talk about the UD Museums and her research.
