Alumni invited to Oct. 1 Towson tailgate

4:34 p.m., Aug. 11, 2005--UD alumni and friends are invited to help cheer the Fightin’ Blue Hens football team to victory over the Towson Tigers during Towson’s homecoming weekend Saturday, Oct. 1, at Towson University Stadium.

The game starts at 6 p.m., but there will be a pregame UD tailgate party at 4 p.m. under the UD tent in parking lot 21.

Tailgate food and drink include hamburgers, hot dogs, barbecued chicken-breast sandwiches, American and Swiss cheese, potato and pasta salad, rolls, cookies and refreshments. Cost for the tailgate is $20. Reservations can be made beginning Monday, Aug. 15, online at [www.udel.edu/alumni].

Football game tickets must be purchased separately from Season Ticket Services at (302) 831-2257.
