Join New Jersey alumni at the shore

3:22 p.m., April 29, 2005--It’s University of Delaware day at the Jersey shore, from 3-5 p.m., Saturday, June 11.

UD alumni are invited to enjoy barbecue, volleyball, dancing, sunbathing or just mixing and mingling at Bar Anticipation, 703-5 16th Ave., South Belmar, N.J., just off the beach.

The festivities begin at 3 p.m. with a cookout that includes hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, corn-on-the-cob, salads, watermelon and other barbecue favorites.

After the barbeque, from 5-8 p.m., alumni and their guests can take advantage of reduced prices for refreshments.

The cost is $20 per person, which includes cover charge, barbecue and two hours of refreshments.
