Lost and Found garage sale set Oct. 1 11:46 a.m., Sept. 19, 2005--UD’s Lost and Found garage sale, an annual event that offers bargain prices on used bicycles, backpacks, electronics, jewelry and assorted household items, will take place at 8 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 1, in the Perkins Garage. The Department of Public Safety-sponsored event, which is free and open to the public, makes all sales on a “first-claimed basis” and requires that all transactions are by cash or check. Prompt arrival is recommended (preview at 7:30 a.m.), and sales are final. No refunds or returns--or post-sale claims by previous owners--are honored.
