Research on women focus of April 9 confab

9 a.m., April 4, 2005--The Geis Student Research on Women Conference, which will showcase student research on gender issues, is scheduled from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, April 9, in Rooms 125 and 126 of Alfred Lerner Hall.

Graduate and undergraduate students from the 12 schools of the greater Philadelphia Women’s Studies Consortium will compete for Geis Student Research Awards of $150 to $200.

The free conference will open at 8:45 a.m. with a welcome from Judith Gibson, assistant vice president. Affirmative Action and Multicultural Programs. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
