Chamber music recital set Saturday

4:40 p.m., April 27, 2005--UD’s Department of Music will present its Spring Student Chamber Music Recital at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 30, in Bayard Sharp Hall.

More than 20 undergraduate and graduate UD music students will perform works by Schumann, Beethoven, Mozart and others in small chamber ensembles. This performance culminates the students’ work throughout the semester, rehearsing vigorously and coaching weekly with UD music faculty members Lawrence Stomberg, assistant professor of cello, and Brian Stone, director of the UD Symphony Orchestra.

Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and $3 for students. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Bob Carpenter Center or Trabant University Center box offices or by phone through TicketMaster (where a service charge may apply) at (302) 984-2000. Tickets also can be purchased at the door, subject to availability.
