Welcome receptions set for new students

1:38 p.m., Aug. 5, 2005--The University of Delaware Alumni Association is hosting a series of welcome receptions for new students and their families.

Current UD students, alumni and administrators will be there to welcome new students and their families and answer any last-minute questions about life at the University.

All receptions will be held from 7-9 p.m., and light refreshments will be served. Dress is business casual. Reception locations and dates include:

• Tavistock Country Club, Tavistock Lane, Haddonfield, N.J., Tuesday, Aug. 9;
• Overbrook Golf Club, Sproul and Godfrey Roads, Bryn Mawr, Pa., Wednesday, Aug. 10;
• Hyatt Regency, Bethesda One Bethesda Metro Center, Bethesda, Md., Thursday, Aug. 11;
• Hempstead Golf and Country Club, Hempstead, Long Island, N.Y.,
• Tuesday, Aug. 16; and
• Brooklake Country Club, 139 Brooklake Road, Florham Park, N.J., Wednesday, Aug. 17.
