GCC offers personalized printing 3:05 p.m., June 8, 2005--Personalized four-color printing for a set-up charge of as little as $15 is now available from UD’s Graphic Communications Center (GCC). Thanks to variable data printing--software that works the way a word-processing programs mail-merge function does--GCC can print customized letters and color brochures personalized with the name of each person on a mailing list. Jo Ellen Rathbun, GCC coordinator, said the College of Arts and Sciences has already used the process to print customized invitations and the Lerner College of Business and Economics used the process to print individualized certificates. Customers pay a set-up fee that depends on the complexity of the printing job and the number of changes desired and then a per-copy fee so they can personalize each copy and print only the quantity they need. Text and graphics can be customized. For more information, call GCC at (302) 831-2153. To learn how to subscribe to UDaily, click here. |
