Outdoor Pool open Sept. 3-5

3:39 p.m., Aug. 31, 2005--Students who plan to spend Labor Day weekend on campus can swim for free in UD’s Outdoor Pool and enjoy one last splash of summertime fun before the facility closes for the season.

Open to all UD students with valid I.D. cards, the pool will be open from noon-7 p.m., Saturday-Monday, Sept. 3-5. Free parking will be in effect during the holiday weekend.

While the pool is open, the snack bar will offer its usual menu of hot dogs, nachos, chips and soft drinks. Students can bring their own food and bottled water, provided it is in plastic containers and consumed in designated areas. No coolers, glass containers, alcoholic beverages or pets will be admitted.

Students also are welcome to bring guests, who will be admitted for $3. For more information, call (302) 831-2868.
