Workshop stages opera scenes April 30, May 1 4:53 p.m., April 26, 2005--UDs Department of Music Opera Workshop presents Aspetti dAmore, memorable operatic moments of the torments, tricks and triumphs of love at 8 p.m., Saturday, April 30, and at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 1, in the Loudis Recital Hall of the Amy E. du Pont Music Building. Directed by music faculty Daniel Cole, Jean-Ronald LaFond, Marie Robinson and Brian Stone, students will perform scenes from La Traviata, Don Giovanni, The Merry Widow, Le nozze de Figaro, Die Fledermaus, Cosi fan tutte, The Elixir of Love and Pelleas et Melisande. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance at the Trabant University Center or Bob Carpenter Center box offices. Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for senior citizens and $3 for students.
