Omnisoul concert set Oct. 14 at Mitchell Hall

Omnisoul
4:17 p.m., Sept. 29, 2005--Omnisoul, the locally formed band that will soon release its first CD with Wind-Up Records, will return to Delaware for a concert at 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 14, at Mitchell Hall.

Formed while at UD, the five-member group quickly became one of the most popular bands in the area, and, upon graduation, garnered national attention with the single, “Waiting (Save Your Life),” which was picked up by local radio stations. Subsequently winning the attention of recording industry talent scouts, Omnisoul recently had its music featured as well in CBS’ soundtrack of Joan of Arcadia and Fantastic Four, a 2005 sci-fi film directed by Tim Story.

Doors for the Oct. 14 concert will open at 7 p.m., and tickets, which are $7 for UD students with valid ID and $10 for all others, will go on sale at all UD box offices and Ticketmaster locations beginning Tuesday, Oct. 4, where a convenience charge may apply.

The performance is sponsored by SCPAB, UD’s Student Centers Programming Advisory Board. For more information, call (302) 831-8192 or visit [www.scpab.com].
