Wellness nutrition lecture set Oct. 3

4:25 p.m., Sept. 21, 2005--Join Marianne Carter, registered dietitian and author of the Wilmington News Journal column “Ask the Nutritionist,” for a lecture titled “What Do I Eat, Who Do I Believe?” from 12:10-12:50 p.m., Monday, Oct. 3, in 103 Gore Hall, sponsored by UD’s Employee Wellness Center.

“Americans are frequently bombarded with conflicting nutrition messages from the media,” Carter said. She will be accepting questions before the seminar, so that she can address any specific questions participants might have, as well as giving practical tips for putting the latest nutrition recommendations into practice.

All attendees will be given the opportunity to send their questions, before the seminar, where they will be anonymously addressed.

Cost of the program is 10 Wellness Dollars. All participants will be entered into a drawing to win a copy of the American Heart Association’s Quick and Easy Cookbook.

Space is limited, and preregistration is required. To register, visit [www.udel.edu/wellness].
