D.C. watchdog to discuss media ethics March 16
A former investigative reporter and producer for CBS-TVs 60 Minutes, Lewis founded the Center for Public Integrity in 1990. A top nonpartisan government watchdog organization based in Washington, D.C., the Center for Public Integrity is known for its investigative reports on political, corporate and media corruption across the United States and around the world. A political science and international relations major who graduated from UD with honors and distinction in 1975, Lewis earned a masters degree at Johns Hopkins University, as well as a MacArthur Foundation Fellowship, commonly called the genius award. Free and open to the public, the Du Pont Scholars Lecture Series is cosponsored by the Unidel Foundation and the University Honors Program.
