Summer Faculty Institute proposals due May 1

4:48 p.m., April 19, 2005--Faculty who participate in this year’s Summer Faculty Institute will receive a free tablet computer and software.

The program, which runs June 20-24, will offer teaching resources and research-based strategies, sessions with service providers and experienced UD faculty and faculty collaboration. Participants will create a technology-based teaching project.

Professors will learn how to use new technology to address specific teaching objectives in the full week of sessions and activities. They will receive a Gateway M275 tablet computer plus software and accessories.

Attendance is limited to 20 faculty members. The program runs from June 20-24.
