Home show at The Bob Sept. 30-Oct.2

4:01 p.m., Sept. 28, 2005--Returning for its 13th season in Newark, the Delaware Home Show will feature more than 170 exhibits on two floors for all lifestyles, Friday, Sept. 30-Sunday, Oct. 2, at UD’s Bob Carpenter Center.

Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and military personnel and free for children 12 and younger. Partial show proceeds will benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware.

The home show features the latest products, services, styles and ideas in home fashions, construction, remodeling and decorating. Building materials, landscaping, cabinetry and storage systems, heating and air conditioning systems, cleaning systems, flooring, weatherproofing, security, kitchens, sunrooms, baths, accessories and more will be displayed.

Sponsored by Delmarva Power, HGTV’s “Collector Inspector,” Harry Rinker, will appraise attendees’ first antique free, with additional appraisals for $5 each.

Delaware Home Show hours are:

  • 5-8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 30;
  • 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 1; and
  • 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 2.
