Meditation class set March 23

10:22 a.m., March 11, 2005--A class on sahaj marg meditation, a type of East Indian meditation that translates as “the natural path,” is set for 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 23, in the Alumni Lounge of the Perkins Student Center.

Sponsored by Students of Holistic Living (SOHL), the class will be taught by Rishi Ranjan, a meditation master, and will focus on mind-clearing, stress-reduction and breathing techniques. Participants are asked to wear nonrestrictive, comfortable clothing, and complimentary organic refreshments will be available at the end of the class.

The free event is one of several Wednesday evening classes planned for the spring semester by SOHL. Other class topics include feng shui, yoga, aromatherapy, massage therapy, organic dieting, herbal therapy, reiki, chiropractics, nutrition and organic dieting.
