Caregivers workshop slated for April 12

4:58 p.m., April 4, 2005--The next workshop in the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program lunchtime seminar series, "Caring for Your Partner or Parent Equals Caring for Yourself," is from noon-1:15 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, in 209 Trabant University Center.

The workshop will highlight the findings of the Caring Partner Project, a study involving Delaware caregivers and ways to prevent and control stress. It also will introduce the new Preparing for Caring Program with tips and resources for caregivers and their loved ones on how to keep caregivers safe and healthy. Christine Cannon, associate professor of nursing, will facilitate the workshop.

Attendees are invited to bring their lunches. Beverages and dessert will be provided.
