French film series set

10:13 a.m., March 10, 2005--The UD French Club has several films planned for the spring semester that shed light on French culture and heritage.

The series, which will begin on Wednesday, March 16, with a 7 p.m. showing of the 2003 animation sleeper hit, Les Triplettes de Belleville, will include two films a month and will run through the end of the semester. All films, which are subtitled and free and open to the public, will be shown at 7 p.m. on selected Wednesdays in Room 210 in Smith Hall.

Other films scheduled are, Les Invasions Barbares, March 23; Amélie, April 6; Monsieur Batignole, April 27; and Taxi, May 11.
