Donations needed for infant victims of Katrina

4:40 p.m., Sept. 16, 2005--Baby diaper and formula donations will be accepted Monday-Friday, Sept. 19-23, at two locations on the campus to support newborns and infants affected by Hurricane Katrina.

The March of Dimes Delaware and March of Dimes Collegiate Council, groups dedicated to improving the health of babies, are sponsoring the drive. They will collect all donations and send them to the hurricane-affected areas.

Diapers and formula donations of any size or brand will be accepted from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. all week in the University Honors Program office on the second floor of Elliott Hall and in 112 Hullihen Hall.

Donations of cash or checks payable to the March of Dimes also are welcome.
