Free DART passes offered to UD commuters

1:07 p.m., May 9, 2005--RideShare Delaware is offering five free transit passes to each UD faculty and staff member during the Ozone Action Season, which runs from Monday, May 16, through Friday, Sept. 30, this year.

The DART-sponsored program, in which the University participates, offers the free passes to all employees of partnering organizations in order to improve air quality in Delaware during the hottest months of the year.

Transit passes can be used on Ozone Action Days during the 2005 Ozone Action Season and can be obtained by calling 1-888-RIDE-MATCH or visiting [www.ridesharedelaware.org] and registering online.

RideShare Delaware offers a number of programs for busy commuters, including bicycle lockers, Park & Ride stations and carpooling options.
