U.S. Constitution birthday party Sept. 20

11:56 a.m., Sept. 12, 2005--A party to celebrate the 218th anniversary of the United States Constitution is set for 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 20, in the lounge of George Read Hall North.

The celebration, which will feature games and debates that test participants’ knowledge of the Constitution, also will include free refreshments.

Besides engaging in friendly competition through such activities as George Read trivia, “You Be the Judge” and team “Double Jeopardy,” guests also will learn how the Constitution impacts issues that are especially relevant to college students.

The free event is sponsored by the Office of Residence Life and the College of Human Services, Education and Public Policy and is open to all UD students.
